FINE ART GICLEE PRINTING FOR ARTISTS' RESALE
Richard Stewart offers professional giclee printing services especially for artists through his company Stewart & Associates Communication Arts in Tampa, Florida.
Professional grade prints are made on an Epson Stylus Pro printer with archival UltraChrome pigmented inks on choice of:
* Lustre photo paper @ $1.50 per inch
* Enhanced matte @ $1.25 per inch
* Watercolor paper @$1.65 per inch
* Polyester film @ $1.35 per inch
* Canvas uncoated @ $1.55 per inch

* Canvas, 3 coats @ $2.00 per inch
* Canvas, on 3/4" bars @ $2.90 per inch
* Canvas, on 1.5" bars @ $3.45 per inch

Prints can be made as wide as 43.
HOW TO CALCULATE PRINTING COST
Add length of image plus width, then multiply by the cost per inch of paper or canvas to get price of print. Example: 11x14 print on enhanced matte paper from your file: 11 + 14 = 25 x $1.25. Cost is $32.50.
MOUNTING & MATTING PRINTS
Mounting and matting with white mat in clear plastic sleeve costs $15 for 8x10 print in 11x14 mat, $18 for 11x14 print in 16x20 mat, $25 for 16x20 print in 20x24 matt, 24X30 matt is $35.
CANVAS GUARD ACRYLIC COATING
For Prints on Canvas, hand finished with 3 coats of ClearShield Canvas Guard is available. For a 16x20 print on canvas: add 11 + 14 = 25. Then multiply by $2.00 for cost of $50.00.
For a 16x20 printed on canvas, coated and stretched on 3/4 bars, the cost is
$104.40 (36x$2.90).
Uncoated canvas, stretched on 3/4" bars is $2.45 per inch. On 1.5" bars, the cost is $3.00 per inch.
For 1 1/2 stretcher bars, multiply by $3.45. The cost is $124.20 (36 x $3.45),
all inclusive: printing, coating & stretching, plus wire, ready for hanging.
GANG PRINTING BRINGS DOWN COST!
Multiple images at Cost of Single Print
Multiple images can be gang printed (printed together at one time)
at the cost of one print (measuring the overall size) rather than
paying for individual prints.
Example: Say you would like 6 8x10 prints,
3-11x14 prints and 1 16x20 print. All of them printed together as a
single print on enhanced matte paper would measure 34x42, costing only $95.00, which is about half the cost of individual prints.
If you dont have a file, image capture with 24 megapixel camera is
available at $50 each or $35 each for more than one. Price includes
color correction and sharpening to produce a printer file. Price
includes the file on a CD-ROM.
